Some of the users especially those in citrix are having a problem , users cannot see their contacts listed when they click on To… and try to view the contacts address book it doesn’t show up.

I believe that the problem lies in the contacts properties...when you right click on the contacts folder, then go to properties, and then go to the "Outlook Address Book" tab, there is a checkbox there that says "show this folder as an email Address book"...those with the problem should be able to check that so that they can view the contacts as an address book and choose the names from there, however, it’s greyed out and the ability to check the box to allow this is gone.

Windows XP Pro and Office 2003 SP3

Would you try the following

In Outlook, Choose Tools->Email Accounts...
Select Add a new directory or address book, then click next.
Select Additional Address Books, then click next.
Choose Outlook Address Book from the list, then click next.
You will have to close Outlook and open again for changes to take effect.
You will then be able to select the Show this folder as an email Address Book from the Outlook Address Book tab within the Contacts properties.
